Cupping Notes: Cane sugar, chocolate, and notes of honeydew melon with a big, syrupy body and crisp, floral finish.
Direct from a father/son farming team, we present the black honey processed Finca Las Torres from the highest mountain in Costa Rica’s Chirripó Region. Régulo and Ricardo Ureña Chacón have painstakingly divided their lush farm into three tiers, producing two lots of black honey processed and one lot of natural processed coffees. “Honey” here refers to the processing, where coffee cherries, without skin, are dried on raised beds and lends to the cup’s fruity characteristics. The family started their own micro-mill where all of the coffee is dried in the sun.
This farm was the 2015 Costa Rica Cup of Excellence winner and continues to work on the sustainability of their surrounding areas by planting fruit trees and preserving natural water sources.
Keep. It. Coming.

There are many reasons to love Costa Rica, and coffee is absolutely at the top of that list. This is a brew that engulfs our kitchen with an aroma that only makes waiting for the coffee to be done, a painful 8 minutes. Such a great weekday coffee that I'm unfortunately going to go through very quickly. I could drink this all day, and then some.

Bold earthy flavor with low acidity. Its a great wake up coffee. The coffee's favor fills the pallet. It has become the coffee clubs new favorite.
